The legendary English golfer – Sir Henry Cotton, the winner of the Open Championship in 1934, 1937 and 1948 is largely responsible for making the Algarve the golf destination of choice and paved the way for future players.  The Algarve now hosts international tournaments such as the World Cup and the Portugal Masters. Our sister resort just a short drive away, boasts its’ own full size 9 hole course. Special rates are available to guests of Clube Albufeira.
